Treat the evaluation as a process of building a professional track record, not a race to a profit target. Slow and steady progress is valued far more than a volatile, inconsistent performance.
🎯 Avoid the Home Run
Don’t try to pass the challenge in one day. Size your positions and set daily profit targets that are a sensible fraction of the overall goal. Aim for average winning days to be around 10-20% of the total profit target.
📈 Plan for Post-Win Trading
If you do have a large winning day, immediately calculate your new required profit total. The evaluation isn’t over. Your new goal is to build a base of smaller wins to balance out the big one.
